DOOM METAL

Traditional Metal

Epic Doom Metal

This sub genre is very similar to Traditional metal. With the music being similar the style of vocals is what sets it apart. You will discover more clean singing vocals in Epic.

Stoner Metal

Psychedelic Metal is additionally another term for this sub genre. The music is known as this because of the psychedelic characteristics that bands combine with it. This kind of music may have heavy bass music with guitar effects. You'll see phaser, flanger and fuzz guitar effects in their music. There's more bass within the drumming style. Most bands that belong to this category were influenced by Hellhammer and Celtic Frost.

Black

Once you combine the elements and styles of Black and Doom metal, you will get something called Black Doom metal.
